About Voices of Montecito
The planning system is difficult, lengthy, and not always fair and equitable.
The current system does not have clear, consistent, and fair guidelines.
We are a non-profit group of private citizens who would like to see an open,
fair, and democratic planning process.
We feel that planning applicants should be able to approach the process knowing
that decisions made by planners will be reasonable, consistent, timely,
user-friendly, and based on known, published guidelines.
The problem has existed for years. It will take the power of many voices
to change the system.
